Barbara Ann Williams
June 19, 1938 - May 18, 2015
BELVEDERE ISLAND - Barbara Hester Williams, 76, died Monday, May 18, 2015 at Hospice House in Savannah. The native and lifelong resident of Savannah was the daughter of the late Robert and Louette Dean. She was a graduate of Savannah High School and retired as a mortgage banker. She was very active throughout her life and especially enjoyed tennis and water skiing; however, her true passion was gardening.
Surviving are her husband, Millard Williams of Belvedere Island; three sons, Joe Hester, Jr. , and Mark and Keith Williams; a sister, Sharon Dunwoody; three grandsons, a great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel. A gathering of family and friends will take place one hour prior to the service.
